This conference will address how direct and indirect regulations impact young startups, innovation, and disruptive technologies (such as Uber, 23&Me, and WeWork). The conference and presentations will focus on the following areas: venture capital funding and financing, labor regulations (worker classification, non-competes, unionization, and FLSA), immigration and foreign hires, financial technologies and securities regulations, MedTech regulations (FDA, HIPAA, and others), cryptocurrencies, patents, and privacy and data security.
